About this event: So you say you have good Equal Employment Opportunity policies, but what happens when you receive a complaint? Title VII and corresponding federal and state laws require employers to investigate and take prompt, effective, remedial action. While you probably didn’t choose a career in HR because of your NCIS crime scene and forensic capabilities, conducting a reasonable investigation is a must. In this month’s compliance webinar, we will focus on the essential steps to conducting a reasonable, compliant workplace investigation, how to identify the right pool of witnesses, who should be responsible for maintaining confidentiality, what to document, and when you know you’ve got enough information to make a good, lawful decision.
(Pre-approved for 1 SHRM credit hour. Pending approval for HRCI credit.)
